Lahore October 05, 2013: The Unveiling of Event Logo of Pakistan Vs South Africa Cricket Series was held today (October 5, 2013) at the Royal Palm Golf & Country Club, Lahore. The Chairman PCB Mr. Najam Sethi , Mr. Arif Pardesi, CEO-COOL & COOL, Adil Rasheed Head, NIB Bank Ltd unveiled the event logo of the series. The Title sponsor of the series is Cool & Cool. The Presenting Sponsor of the series is NIB Bank Ltd. There are also 2 Co-Sponsors of the series: Haier and Zong.

The matches will be held in the UAE from October 14 till November 15, 2013. The NIB Bank presents Cool & Cool Cup 2013 will comprise 2 Test Matches, 5 One Day International Matches and 2 T20 Internationals.

Commenting on the event Mr. Najam Sethi, Chairman PCB, said:

“It gives me great pleasure to be part of this ceremony where the series logo for the Pakistan vs South Africa 2013 rubber is being unveiled. For such a high-profile series, the logo unveiling is an event that tells us to brace ourselves for some really high-octane cricket against one of the top-ranking sides in the world in all forms of world class cricket.
Pakistan and South Africa both boast exciting talents in their respective lineups. I am positive that Team Pakistan under Misbah-ul-Haq will produce another giant-slaying performance, just as it did last year against the then world No 1 England, at the same venues.

I know some friends in the media will remind me about the pasting South Africa handed us in the Test series earlier this year. Fair enough, but we have tried to learn from our mistakes and will try to take advantage of "home" wickets in the UAE just as they did in South Africa in the last series.

So, I am definitely in a positive mood. The logo, as we see it, also reminds us of our worthy sponsors. The title sponsors Cool & Cool and presenting sponsors NIB Bank Limited, as well as co-sponsors Haier and Zong, are all major corporate entities in Pakistan. Their continued corporate support reflects their resolve to back the PCB and Team Pakistan. We are most grateful for this support and hope that the series will turn out to be a very successful marketing venture, getting all four stakeholders – not to mention the others who buy ground space – high value for every rupee spent through optimum mileage.

Good luck all, I say.”

Mr. Arif Pardesi, CEO, COOL & COOL said:
“It was an honor for our group to sponsor such a high profile series between two cricket loving countries. We got an overwhelming response every time we sponsor and are anticipating an even better response this time from the series. “Cricket is the most popular sport in the country and we believe that corporate entities need to keep on investing in this sport to develop the game at the international and grass root level. This will considerably motivate young talent in our country to come forward and exhibit their cricketing skills and make us proud as a nation.” He further said that as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility NIB Bank is committed to actively support sports and cricket in particular and will continue to sponsor cricketing series played by our national team.
