PAKISTAN SEAL THE SERIES AT DUBAI INTERNATIONAL STADIUM

Pakistan nosed out New Zealand in the second T20I by six wickets and two balls to spare at the Dubai International Stadium. Sarfraz Ahmed's men are now 2-0 up in the 3- match series, taking an unassailable lead in the 'Oye Hoye presents Jubilee Insurance Cup.'

Pakistan made a solitary change in their lineup from the first game as Fakhar Zaman replaced Sahibzada Farhan.

New Zealand on the other hand fielded an unchanged XI. The Black Caps captain, Kane Williamson won the toss and elected to bat.

Colin Munro stepped on the gas pedal right away. His 28-ball-44 helped his team got off to a flying start. In contrast Glenn Phillips found the going tough and was eventually dismissed by Shaheen Afridi.

Munro headed to the pavilion in the next over. Hafeez foxed him.

Pakistan made further inroads into the Kiwis but Kane Williamson remained firm.

The skipped managed 37 off 34 deliveries.

After his fall, Corey Anderson upped the ante to enforce a big finish, setting a target of 154 for victory.

In pursuit of the total, Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam started in fine fashion. Zaman was the more aggressive partner as he smashed 24 off just 15 balls. New Zealand got the breakthrough thanks to one of the catches of the season by Williamson.

Babar Azam and Asif Ali looked good as they put Pakistan in ascendancy.

Mohammad Hafeez followed that up with a bludgeoning knock to seal the deal with two balls to spare. This is Pakistan's 11th T20I series victory in a row, a world record.

Shaheen Afridi was named the Player of the match. The final T20I will be played on Sunday, November 4 at Dubai International Stadium.
