The Pakistan Cricket Board has strongly rebutted a news item run by INP news agency alleging that National Coach Dav Whatmore has submitted his tour report to the PCB in which he has attributed the behavior of senior players towards juniors as the main reason behind the poor performance of the team during their recently concluded series against Zimbabwe.
“The story is false and malicious. Dav has not even submitted his report as yet. It is regrettable that untrue information is being spread without verification which reflects poorly on the state of journalism in this country.
The PCB reserves the right to act against such baseless and misleading reports" the spokesman said.
