Anxious wait for Black Caps fans with Sky yet to secure cricket tour rights

Cricket fans face another nervous wait as to whether the touring Black Caps will show up on New Zealand television screens this year.

Sky Television is yet to secure New Zealand broadcast rights to the Black Caps tours of Zimbabwe in July, South Africa in August and India in October, although the network insists its subscribers shouldn't panic yet. "There's a good level of confidence [that the rights will be secured]," Sky's director of corporate communications Kirsty Way said.
