Cricket fans face another nervous wait as to whether the touring Black Caps will show up on New Zealand television screens this year.

Sky Television is yet to secure New Zealand broadcast rights to the Black Caps tours of Zimbabwe in July, South Africa in August and India in October, although the network insists its subscribers shouldn't panic yet. "There's a good level of confidence [that the rights will be secured]," Sky's director of corporate communications Kirsty Way said.

Alastair Cook has kick-started the northern summer in serious form with Essex and the England skipper will be eyeing a place in history when his side's three-Test series with Sri Lanka begins in Leeds on May 19.

The game of Cricket is full of variations. There are just so many unique terms used in Cricket which make it a completely different one from all other sports. Stumps, pitch, bails and many other exclusive terms used in Cricket are unheard of in any other sport which makes the game even more exciting.
