Nauman Ali and Dean Elgar review first day's play

Karachi, 26 January 2021: South Africa were bowled out for 220 runs on day-one of the ICC World Test Championship series match against Pakistan at the National Stadium Karachi on Tuesday. At close of play Pakistan were placed at 33 for four in their reply, for South Africa fast bowler Kagiso Rabada took two wickets.

Dean Elgar top-scored with 58 while George Linde scored 35 runs. Yasir Shah took three wickets while Shaheen Shah Afridi and Nauman Ali picked two wickets each.

At the end of the day’s play Pakistan’s Nauman Ali and South Africa’s Dean Elgar held online virtual media conferences.
