Faisalabad, 27 November 2025: Stars and Invincibles emerged winners in the seventh round of the National Women’s One-Day Tournament as action unfolded at the HPC Ground and Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad on Thursday.

Strikers will face Stars, while Challengers will now face Conquerors in the eighth round with teams looking to secure top two spots in the race for the 6 December final.

Invincibles’ Hafsa Khalid made her mark with all-round performance (43 and 4-25) including a hat-trick with the ball against bottom-placed Strikers to hand her team their third triumph at the HPC Ground, Faisalabad.

Chasing 185 to win, Strikers were bowled out for 163 in 44.3 overs with no.4 Najiha Alvi remaining unbeaten for 68 off 100 balls inclusive of five fours and one six. Najiha walked in to bat at 43-2 before her team slipped to 73-5 bringing Humna Bilal (10, 25b, 1x4) to the middle.

Najiha and Humna tried putting the chase back on track with a steady 37-run sixth-wicket stand before Hafsa pinned the latter leg-before with Strikers requiring another 75 runs to win. At 115-7, Najiha again threatened to take away the game by forming a 48-run stand with Ghulam Fatima (13, 34b, 1x4).

Earlier, Invincibles were helped by Tuba Hasan’s 49 off 62 balls and Hafsa’s 43 off 58 balls after they had slipped to 102-6. Tuba got together with Rida Aslam (27, 52b, 1x4) to form a 61-run seventh-wicket stand pushing their team to a competitive total.

For Strikers, Humna Bilal picked up three wickets, while Ghulam Fatima and Nashra Sundhu dismissed two batters each.

Stars’ left-arm spinners Anam Amin (4-33) and Anosha Nasir (3-15) routed Challengers as they folded for 146 all out in 37.4 overs in pursuit of the 210-run target at the Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad.

Stars have shot up to the second place on the points table with four wins in six games, Challengers descended to fifth position with just two wins in as many games.
