Karachi, 31 December 2025: Beaconhouse School and Five Star School will lock horns in the final of the Naya Nazimabad Inter-School Championship on Thursday, 1 January 2026 at the Naya Nazimabad Ground, Karachi.
The final will begin at 3.30pm with the toss taking place at 3pm. It will be broadcast on Fast Sports, Geo Super and PTV National, while the live-stream will be available on Tapmad (Pakistan) and PCB YouTube Channel (outside Pakistan).
The entry will be free for the fans and following the conclusion of the match they will be treated to grand fireworks show followed by the musical concert of renowned singer Havi.
The winner of the tournament will pocket PKR one million, while the runners-up will be awarded a cash prize of PKR 500,000. The best batter, bowler, wicket-keeper and player of the tournament will take away PKR 50,000 each. Player of the final will collect PKR 15,000.
The eight-team tournament began on 30 November with eight schools taking on each other in a single-league round-robin tournament with the top four reaching semi-finals. Teams included Army Public School, Beaconhouse, EAB GBSS, Five Star School, Grace Academy, Hira Foundation, Oasis School, and Standard School.
Beaconhouse and Five Star emerged victorious in the semi-finals after winning six games each in the league-stage, while Standard School and Oasis School fell short. Mohammad Yaqoob of Five Star lead the batting charts with 291 runs followed by Hamza Nadeem of Beaconhouse, who has scored 251.
Among the bowlers, Beaconhouse’s Umer Irfan has bagged 22 wickets, while Mohammad Aqil of Hira Foundation stands second with 21 scalps. Aaish Malik of Standard School and Shahzil Farooqi of Five Star are joint-third with 19 wickets each.
