Farewell given to Mauhtashim Rasheed by PCb's Women wings

LAHORE–October 28, 2016: Mr. Mauhtashim Rasheed, Head Coach Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team was given a graceful farewell by the PCB Women’s Wing at the National Cricket Academy, Lahore.

In a ceremony hosted to honor the outgoing coach, Aized Syed, Director Games Development appreciated Mauhtashim Rasheed's 5-year tenure with the side. He hoped the women's team will perform and support the new head coach Basit Ali.

Ms. Shamsa Hashmi, GM Women’s Wing lauded the services of Mauhtashim Rasheed for women's cricket. She thanked Mauhtashim for his support to women's cricket over the years.
Sana Mir thanked the outgoing coach and added, the team had a great time with him and indeed he had put a great team spirit over the years.

Mauhtashim Rasheed thanked Women’s Wing for honoring him. He said he was lucky to have this team who had tried to perform to the best of their abilities. My best wishes are with the team in the future endeavor.

 

Pakistan Women's team had won Gold medal in Asian Games 2014 and whitewashed Bangladesh in ODI and  T-20I series in October 2015 under Mauhtashim Rasheed's tenure.
