Fawad Alam holds virtual media conference after stumps on day two

Southampton, 22 August 2020: Zak Crawley’s 267 and Jos Buttler’s 152 lifted England to 583 for eight declared on day two of the third ICC World Test Championship fixture against Pakistan at the Ageas Bowl. The pair added 154 runs to take their fifth wicket partnership to 359 before Crawley was stumped off Asad Shafiq’s off-spin.

Buttler, the next wicket to fall, was Fawad Alam’s maiden Test scalp and the slow left-arm orthodox struck again to dismiss Chris Woakes (40) as England lost two quick wickets for 17 runs.

At the close of play, Pakistan were 24 for three. James Anderson took all three wickets.

After stumps, Fawad Alam held a virtual media conference. The audio and video files of his interaction are available here.
