President's Trophy to begin from Sunday

Lahore, 27 December 2025: Defending champions Pakistan Television (PTV) will be eyeing to successfully defend the title as the four-day first-class President’s Trophy gets underway in Karachi from Sunday, 28 December.

The red-ball tournament, scheduled to run from 28 December to 12 February, will feature eight departmental teams including Ghani Glass, KRL, OGDCL, PTV, Sahir Associates, SBP, SNGPL and WAPDA. In the previous edition of the four-day event, PTV on the back of an all-round performance by Muhammad Shahzad defeated SBP by three wickets in the final at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

In the forthcoming edition, all teams will play each other once, with each side featuring in seven matches before the top two teams qualify for the final, scheduled to take place from 8 to 12 February. The venue of the final will be confirmed in due course.

All matches will begin at 10:00am, with the toss scheduled for 9:30am.

Sahir Associates v SNGPL at NBP Sports Complex

KRL v WAPDA at National Bank Stadium

OGDCL v Ghani Glass at UBL Sports Complex

PTV v SBP at SBP Sports Complex
