Karachi, 18 February 2026: The Pakistan Cricket Board confirms one change to the Pakistan Shaheens squad for the upcoming series against England Lions, scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi from 20 February to 9 March.
Following a detailed medical assessment at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), it has been determined that right-arm fast bowler Ali Raza requires rehabilitation for his left knee. He is currently undergoing a structured rehabilitation programme at the NCA under the supervision of the PCB medical panel.
After due deliberation, the selection committee has named Swat-born Muhammad Amir Khan as a replacement for Ali for the forthcoming white-ball series, which includes three T20 matches and a five-match 50-over series. The 24-year-old Amir is a right-arm pacer and a right-handed batter.
