Abid Ali holds virtual media conference after fourth day's play

Southampton, 24 August 2020: Abid Ali’s 162-ball 42 had Pakistan at 100 for two in their second innings at the close of play on day four of the third ICC World Test Championship fixture against England at the Ageas Bowl Southampton on Monday.

Fifty-six overs were bowled in the day's play. The entire afternoon session was wiped out due to rain before bad light hastened the end of play. Abid knitted partnerships worth 49 and 39 with Shan Masood (18) and Azhar Ali (29 not out) for the first and second wicket before he was trapped lbw by James Anderson.

On the fifth and final day of the Test, Azhar and Babar Azam (four not out) will resume the innings for Pakistan.

After the day’s play, Abid held a virtual media conference. Its audio and video files are available here.
