Azeem Ghumman charged for showing dissent

Lahore, 30 October 2021: Balochistan captain Azeem Ghumman has been fined 50 per cent of his match fee for a level 1 offence for showing dissent at an umpire’s decision during the seventh-round match against Southern Punjab at the Rana Naved Cricket Academy in Sheikhupura.

Azeem showed dissent on umpire’s decision and started arguing with the umpire. He was found to have violated Article 2.8 of the PCB Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel.

On-field umpires Mohammad Imran Ali and Mir Dad levelled the charge who accepted the sanction proposed by match-referee Mohammad Aslam.
