Lahore, 15 July 2025: Head of Women’s Cricket PCB Rafia Haider is the latest guest on the PCB Podcast – the 65th episode of which is available here for free download and editorial use. Rafia, who took charge as the head of PCB Women’s Cricket wing at the start of this year, discusses the state of the women’s game in the country in a 29-minute long episode.
Furthermore, she also sheds light on the administrative side of her role. In a latest development she mentioned how the PCB is in talks with the relevant stakeholders to revive women’s departmental cricket in a bid to increase the number of domestic tournaments.
Talking about preparations for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, she hinted at the PCB arranging an extra ODI series at home before the mega event in addition to the ongoing skills development and fitness camp in Karachi.
