In order to improve the overall performance and effectiveness of the Pakistan Women's Cricket Team, PCB has appointed Mr. Andy Richards from Queensland Cricket, Australia as "Assistant Coach/Batting Consultant" with the Pakistan Women cricket Team for the following upcoming tours:-
1. ICC Women Cricket Championship – Round 3 (Pakistan vs. Australia series).
2. ICC Women’s World T20 in West Indies.
3. ICC Women Cricket Championship – Round 4 (Pakistan vs. West Indies).
4. ICC Women Cricket Championship – Round 5 (Pakistan vs. South Africa).
Mr. Andy Richards will also be attending the Pre Tour Training Camps prior to these tours and working with the Team.
Currently Mr. Andy is working as the Female Pathway Manager for Queensland Cricket. In addition he has also worked previously as Head Coach of Queensland Fire & Brisbane Heat. He has a vast knowledge regarding Women’s Cricket and surely his expertise will be highly beneficial to the Pakistan Women Cricket Team.
