Sahir Associates’ Usman Khan fined for code of conduct violation
Lahore, 8 December 2025: Sahir Associates’ Usman Khan has been fined 100% of his match fee for a level two breach of Article 2.8 during his side’s President’s Cup One Day Tournament match against Khan Research Laboratories on 8 December. Article 2.8 of the PCB Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel relates to “showing dissent at an umpire’s decision during a match.”
Usman, after being adjudged out leg-before, entered in a prolonged discussion with the umpire. His behavior was deemed to be ‘very harsh and obscene with the umpires.’
On-field umpires Khalid Mahmood Sr. and Abdul Moqeet levelled the charge, with match referee Bilal Khilji imposing the sanction.
SNGPL’s Muhammad Shahzad fined for code of conduct violation
Lahore, 14 December 2025: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited’s Muhammad Shahzad has been fined 35% of his match fee for a level one breach of Article 2.8 during his side’s President’s Cup One Day Tournament match against Ghani Glass on 14 December. Article 2.8 of the PCB Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel relates to “showing dissent at an umpire’s decision during a match.”
Muhammad Shahzad, after being adjudged out leg-before, stood his ground and passed remarks at the umpire.
On-field umpires Kashif Sohail and Muhammad Sajid levelled the charge, with match referee Nadeem Arshad imposing the sanction.
