Peshawar’s Muhammad Amir Khan and Mohammad Haris fined for code of conduct violation

Lahore, 26 October 2025: Muhammad Amir Khan has been fined 50% of his match fee for a level one breach of Article 2.8 of the PCB Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to “showing dissent at an umpire’s decision during a match”, during Peshawar Region’s Quaid-e-Azam Trophy match against Abbottabad Region on 26 October.

Amir was reported to have shown dissent after a caught-behind appeal was turned down, in response sitting down and rolling onto the adjacent pitch.

In the same match, Mohammad Haris has been fined 30% of his match fee for a level one breach of Article 2.8. Haris was reported to have thrown the ball onto the ground in an aggressive manner following the same overturned appeal.

In both cases, on-field umpires Nasir Hussain and Imtiaz Iqbal levelled the charges, with match referee Iqbal Sheikh imposing the sanctions.

Islamabad Region fined for slow over rate in Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2025-26

Lahore, 14 November 2025: Islamabad Region have also been found guilty of a minimum over-rate offence under Article 2.22 of the PCB Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel in their match against Faisalabad Region from 11-14 November, after being ruled three overs short.

Each playing member has been fined 5% of the applicable match fee.

The charge was levelled by on-field umpires Kashif Sohail and Aley Haider, with Iqbal Sheikh serving as match referee.

Abbottabad’s Kamran Ghulam fined for code of conduct violation

Lahore, 17 November 2025: Abbottabad Region’s Kamran Ghulam has been fined 30% of his match fee for a level one breach of Article 2.8 of the PCB Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to “showing dissent at an umpire’s decision during a match”, in his side’s match against Faisalabad Region on 17 November.

Kamran was reported to have delayed leaving the crease after being adjudged leg-before-wicket.

The charge was levelled by on-field umpires Nasir Hussain and Qaiser Khan, with match referee Muhammad Aslam imposing the sanction.

Sialkot’s Saqib Khan fined for code of conduct violation

Lahore, 23 November 2025: Sialkot Region’s Saqib Khan has been fined 20% of his match fee for a level one breach of Article 2.9 during his side’s match against Karachi Region Blues on 23 November. Article 2.9 of the PCB Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel relates to “throwing a ball (or any other item of cricket equipment) at or near a player.”

Saqib, after collecting the ball, was reported to have thrown it dangerously at the batter (who was standing in his crease), with the ball hitting the batter on his toe.

On-field umpires Abdul Moeet and Imranullah Aslam levelled the charge, with match referee Kamran Chaudhry imposing the sanction.

Islamabad’s Muhammad Musa Khan fined for code of conduct violation

Lahore, 26 November 2025: Islamabad Region’s Muhammad Musa Khan has been fined 25% of his match fee for a level one breach of Article 2.5 during his side’s match against Peshawar Region on 26 November. Article 2.5 of the PCB Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel relates to “using language, actions or gestures which disparages or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon his/her dismissal during a match.”

Musa, after bowling out Peshawar Region’s Waqar, uttered words in Pashto and pointed out towards the pavilion in aggressive way.

On-field umpires Imtiaz Iqbal and Kashif Sohail levelled the charge, with match referee Ali Naqvi imposing the sanction.
