14-August 2021 - Imran Khan fined for code of conduct breach

Sukkar’s Imran Khan Butt was fined 30 per cent of his match-fee for breaching the PCB Code of Conduct for Players and Players Support Personnel during his side’s City Cricket Association Tournament 2021-22 match against Zone VI at the KCA Stadium on Saturday. 

Imran had violated Clause 2.6 of the PCB Code of Conduct (Level 1), which reads as: “Using a gesture that is obscene, offensive or insulting during a Match.”

Imran pleaded guilty to the charge proposed by on-field umpires Fahim Bukhari and Aqeel Aadil. 

23-August 2021 - Zone VI fined for maintaining slow over-rate

Karachi Zone VI have been fined PKR16,000 for maintaining a slow over-rate during their City Cricket Association Tournament 2021-22 match against Karachi Zone VII at the UBL Sports Complex on Sunday.

Zone VI were two overs short of their target after taking into account time allowances and, as such, were charged under Article 2.22 of the PCB Code of Conduct for Players and Players Support Personnel that deals with minimum over-rate offences.

On-field umpires Abdul Qayoom and Asim Alvi levelled the charge.
