U19 camp to begin from Friday in Multan

Lahore, 23 October 2025: Twenty-six players have been called up to the U19 camp at the Inzamam-ul-Haq High Performance Centre in Multan, which will commence from Friday, 24 October.

The players have been invited based on their performances in the National U19 Cup, which was held across the country from 21 September to 16 October. Under the supervision of academy coaches, the players will undergo skills and fitness sessions and will also take part in scenario-based matches to further enhance their skills.

The camp will also help the selectors to finalise Pakistan U19 squads for the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup and ICC U19 World Cup. The schedules of both events will be announced in due course.

It is pertinent to mention that in June this year, the National Cricket Academy organised a U19 Skills Assessment Camp in Multan, where more than 70 players participated. These players later took part in the National U19 Cup.

Among the 26 players, there are six batters, five all-rounders, six spinners, six fast bowlers, and three wicketkeeper-batters.

Spinners:

Hassan Khan (Rawalpindi), ?Ibtisam Azhar (Lahore Blues), Momin Qamar (Faisalabad), ?Mohammad Huzaifa (Bahawalpur), ?Mohammad Tahir (FATA), Niqab Shafiq (Karachi Whites)
