Fizza, Eman lead Pakistan Women's U19 to series-leveling win in fourth T20

Cox’s Bazar, 10 December 2025: Pakistan Women’s U19 beat Bangladesh Women’s U19 by six wickets in the fourth fixture to level the five-match T20 series 2-2 at the Cox’s Bazar Academy Ground in Bangladesh on Wednesday.

The two teams will play the series finale on Friday, 12 December at the same venue with the first ball expected to be bowled at 12pm Pakistan time.

Fizza Fiaz and skipper Eman Naseer stitched an unbeaten 69-run stand to help Pakistan chase the 127-run target with 11 balls to spare. Fizza struck a blazing 52 not out off 35 balls including five fours and three sixes, while Eman remained unbeaten on 42 off 47 balls hitting four fours.

The duo got together at 58-4 in the 10th over after Pakistan slipped from 50-1 in a space of 13 balls. Fizza then kept the scorecard ticking with regular boundaries, while Eman held one end.

With 21 required off the last three overs, Fizza tonked Jarin Tasnem Labonno for two consecutive sixes followed by a two and a third six taking 20 runs off the four balls before Eman hit the winning run on the first ball of the penultimate over.

For Bangladesh, Labonno picked up 3-31 in her four overs, while Habiba Islam Pinky picked up one wicket.

Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and opted to bowl first and reduced Bangladesh to 54-3 in 9.5 overs with Sumaiya Akter Suborna scoring 20 off 21 balls hitting three fours.

At this juncture, Bangladesh’s top-scorer Achena Jannat Emanta (35, 34b, 4x4s) and Mymuna Naher Shornamoni (24 not out, 33b) stitched a 48-run stand off 46 balls.

Aqsa Habib put an end to the partnership running out Achena with Bangladesh 102-4 in 17 overs. They managed to add 24 runs in the last three overs as they posted 126-7 in 20 overs. For Pakistan, Rozina Akram and Memoona Khalid picked up two wickets each. Shehr Bano dismissed one batter.
