Karachi, 4 October 2025: Stars and Challengers registered wins in the sixth and final round of of the National Women’s U19 T20 Tournament at the National Bank Stadium and HPC Oval Ground in Karachi on Saturday evening.
At the National Bank Stadium, Stars defeated Conquerors by 28 runs. After opting to bat, Stars posted 121-7 in their 20 overs with contributions from Rahima Syed (32, 30b, 4x4s), Komal Khan (31, 26b, 5x4s) and Areesha Ansari (30, 33b, 4x4s).
Aleesa Mukhtiar returned figures of 2 for 14, while Maheen Irfan picked up one for 15 to take her tally of wickets to 11in six matches – one better of Haniah Ahmer’s 10 who sits second on the table.
In turn, Conquerors were bowled out for 93 in 16.3 overs. Samiya Afsar, following up her unbeaten half-century from the previous game, scored a fighting 43 off 24 balls with five fours and two sixes. She finished the league stage with the most runs - 207 in six matches.
Player of the match Zainab Irfan snapped4-18, while Maria dismissed two batters.
At the HPC Oval Ground, Challengers secured a 46-run win over Strikers. After being put in to bat, Challengers scored 111-5 in 20 overs as Ravail Farhan top scored with 44 off 42 comprising five fours. She also shared a 66-run fourth-wicket stand with Malaika Suhani (27, 31b, 2x4s)
For Strikers, Abeera Riaz Uddin, Summaya Taj, Sawera Ramzan and Shahar Bano picked up one wicket apiece.
In turn, Strikers were bowled out on 65 in 18.1 overs. Sawera Ramzan scored a 27-ball 21. Plyer of the match Haniah Ahmer (3-13) and Syeda Batool Fatima (3-8) shared six wickets.
In the semi-finals Challengers will face Strikers at the National Bank Stadium, Karachi, while Stars will be up against Conquerors at the HPC Oval Ground, Karachi on Monday, 6 October. Both matches will begin at 2pm with the toss taking place at 1.30pm.
