Karachi, 3 October 2025: Conquerors and Challengers registered wins in the fifth round of the National Women’s U19 T20 Tournament played today at the National Bank Stadium and HPC Oval Ground in Karachi, respectively.
At the National Bank Stadium, Conquerors defeated Strikers by 28 runs. After being put into bat, Conquerors posted 124 for six in 20 overs. The innings revolved around Samiya Afsar’s unbeaten 57 off 45 balls, which included seven fours and one six, while Eyman Naseer contributed 33 off 30 balls. For Strikers, Memoona Khalid grabbed two wickets for 35 runs.
In turn, Strikers managed 96 for seven in 20 overs. Aqsa Habib fought hard with an unbeaten 40 off 39 balls. Maheen Irfan was the most successful bowler with three for 17, while Aleesa Mukhtiar took two wickets for four runs. For her match-winning half-century, Samiya Afsar was named player of the match.
At the HPC Oval Ground, Challengers secured a 13-run win on DLS over Stars. Opting to bat, Challengers scored 98 for six in 20 overs, with Ravail Farhan scoring 32. For Stars, Hadia Mina (2-11) and Mahnoor Zaib (2-16) were the notable wicket-takers.
In turn, Stars were restricted to 73 for eight in 17 overs. Afsheen Imran, Munazza Ghaffar and Syeda Batool Fatima bagged two wickets each. For her decisive spell, Syeda Batool Fatima was named player of the match.
The next round matches of the tournament will be played on Saturday, 4 October.
